Working with this BX series is a true delight thanks to its hydraulic feed system. With this model, feeding and pushing etc. are a thing of the past; the 2 large feed rollers take care of this themselves. The speed of the feed rollers can be continuously adjusted. This is important so that the feed speed can be adjusted to fit the diameter of the material to be shredded. Smaller diameters can be fed faster than larger diameters. In the event that the feeder should become blocked, the feed can be set into reverse using the large handle on the hopper. Furthermore, the feed can be switched off using this handle. The unit is powered via the tractor’s hydraulics; a pressurised supply line and an unpressurised return line are required or alternatively a double-acting control unit is required.
The LB log branch splitter machine is used for the processing of wood waste wood. You can process branches of the following size:
- Diameter of hard, dry wood (oak): max. 80 mm
- Hard, fresh (wet) bush (oak) diameter: max. 100 mm
- Soft, fresh (wet) bush (pine) diameter: max. 120 mm
Here we can offer you one of our newest models of log splitters. This is a very heavy-duty and robust design. The weight of the splitter alone is 280 kg! The enormous splitting force of 18 tons is obtained by using a tractor (drive via P.T.O., it can also be fitted to the 3-point hinge of a tractor).
